What we collect
When you submit the contact form or call the phone number on this site, we collect a small set of contact details and a few automatic technical fields:
From the form (what you give us):
- Name
- Phone number
- Email (optional)
- ZIP code (optional)
- Service requested (e.g., garage cleanout, appliance removal)
- Preferred date (optional, free text)
- Free-text message describing what needs to be hauled
Collected automatically when the form is submitted:
- Page URL the form was submitted from
- Referring URL (where you came from, if any)
- UTM parameters present in the page URL (campaign tracking)
- A one-way hash of your browser’s user-agent string (we do not store the raw user-agent)
- Country code derived from your IP address (we do not store your IP address itself — see “What we deliberately do not collect” below)
- Timestamp of the submission
- A bot-protection token from Cloudflare Turnstile, used only at submission time and not retained
From phone calls (when you call the number on this site):
- The time of your call, the number you dialled, the city and state your carrier reports, the last four digits of your number, and a one-way scrambled code derived from your full number, via Twilio’s call-routing webhook
- Your phone number, so your request can be returned — by us, or by the local provider fielding leads from this site when there is one
- The recording of any message you leave, when you leave one
Recorded messages. If nobody is available to take your call, you can leave a message — and that message is recorded and saved along with your request, so we can hear what you need and act on it. Connected calls are not recorded; only the message you leave yourself is. Recordings are held by Twilio, the call service that answers this number, and kept with your request. We do not currently delete call recordings on a fixed schedule. If you want a recording of yours removed, ask us through the contact form and we’ll delete it.
Site-wide visit measurement:
- We do not run a page-view analytics product on this site. No analytics script, beacon, tag or pixel loads in your browser. Nothing on this site counts your page views, records the page you arrived from, or follows you from one page to the next.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this site, keeps its own operational records of the requests it delivers — request and bandwidth counts, and the country a request came from — because every page is served through its network. That happens on Cloudflare’s servers as part of delivering the page, not in your browser, and it is not tied to you or to anything you type unless you submit the form or call the number.
How we use it
The contact information you give us is used for one purpose: getting your junk-removal request to someone who can do the work. It is received by Wayfind Local Group, which owns and operates this site, and is passed on to the Plymouth-area junk-removal company fielding leads from this site when there is one, so they can call or email you back, quote the job, and schedule the pickup.
The automatic fields (page URL, referrer, UTM, user-agent hash, country code) help us understand which pages and channels actually generate leads, so we can keep improving the site.
We do not use any of this information for retargeting advertising, profile-building, or sale to data brokers.
Who we share it with
- Wayfind Local Group, and then a local provider — when there is one. Your name, phone, email, ZIP, service, preferred date, and message are received by Wayfind Local Group, which owns and operates this site. We pass them to a single Plymouth-area junk-removal company at a time — the operator who performs the work — and to no one else. As of the last-updated date at the foot of this page, no provider is engaged for this site, so nothing has been forwarded to one. See vendor disclosure for the rank-and-rent model in full.
- Service providers we use to run the site. Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, bot protection, and the database this site’s records are stored in), Twilio (call routing + transactional SMS notification), Resend (transactional email notification to us, and to the local provider once one is fielding leads from this site). Each is bound by its own terms; none is given your information for marketing use.
- No one else. We do not sell your contact information. We do not share it with advertising networks, lead aggregators, or marketing-data brokers.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are stored in our Cloudflare D1 database for up to 13 months, then deleted. The 13-month window covers the longest seasonal-recall pattern we expect (e.g., a homeowner who contacted us last spring and wants the same crew this spring).
When you call, we save a record of the call in our own database: the time, the number you dialled, the city and state your carrier reports, the last four digits of your number, and a one-way scrambled code derived from your full number that lets us recognise a repeat caller. Twilio, the call service that answers this number, keeps its own call log under its own retention schedule. We do not currently delete these call records on a fixed schedule, and the same is true of any message you leave (see “Recorded messages” above). If you want a call record or a message of yours removed, ask us through the contact form and we’ll delete it.
If the local provider fielding leads from this site changes, the incoming provider does not receive prior submissions — those records stay with us and continue to age out under the 13-month rule.
Your choices
- Request deletion. Ask us through the contact form to delete the submission tied to your name and phone. We delete within 30 days and confirm to the phone number or email address you give us.
- Opt out of follow-up. Ask us through the contact form and we’ll remove your record from the active routing list. If a local provider has already contacted you about your request, you can tell them directly as well.
- Update your information. Same route — send the correction through the contact form.
We do not maintain a mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
Cookies and tracking
- No analytics product, so no analytics cookie. We do not run Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics or any other page-view analytics tool on this site. Nothing of that kind loads in your browser, and nothing of that kind sets a cookie.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: issues a short-lived session token at form-submit time to block automated bots. The token is not a tracking cookie and is not retained after the submission is processed. Turnstile runs under the legitimate-interest basis (preventing fraud and abuse) and does not require a cookie banner.
- No third-party ad pixels. No Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion tag, retargeting tag, or marketing-data-broker tag is installed on this site.
- Cloudflare infrastructure cookies: Cloudflare may set first-party security cookies (e.g.,
__cf_bm) when it detects bot-like activity. These are operational, not advertising, and we do not control them.
What we deliberately do not collect
This list is the inverse of the inventory above:
- Raw IP address. Your IP is consulted only to enforce a short-window rate limit; it is never written to our database. The country code derived from it is the only IP-linked field we retain on the submission record.
- Raw user-agent string. We compute a one-way hash at submission time and store only the hash.
- Geolocation beyond country code. No latitude/longitude, no city-level IP geolocation, no precise location.
- Browser fingerprint. No canvas fingerprinting, no font fingerprinting, no audio fingerprinting.
- Call recordings. We do collect these when you leave a message — see “Recorded messages” above.
- Payment information. Payment for the work is handled directly between you and whoever performs it; we take no payment from you and do not see or process it.
- Third-party advertising profile data. No pixel, no audience-export integration.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, tell us through the contact form and we’ll delete the record.
Updates to this policy
We update this page when we change what we collect or how we use it. The “last updated” date below changes when material changes are made. Because we do not maintain a mailing list, we cannot email you about updates — substantive changes will be noted on this page itself.
Contact
For privacy questions or deletion requests, use the contact form. We don’t publish a separate privacy mailbox — the form reaches us directly. Service-related questions (about a pickup, a quote, scheduling) are for whoever performs the work — we do not quote jobs or schedule pickups ourselves. If a local provider has contacted you about your request, ask them; otherwise send the question through the contact form.
